Sometimes the silent voices
You never hear except
By means of their effects

Overwhelm the system
Which is trained upon
Keeping others silence

The irrational fear
That alone one is helpless
Irrevocably contradicted

By the preponderance
Of likeminded individuals
Acting in community

To not take any more bullshit
Leaves the weak bully
To sputter hackneyed invectives

Knowing his tininess
Suddenly broadcast far and wide
Will lead to his diminution

Turns out he’s outnumbered
Soon to be overwhelmed
By the rising tide of discontents

Arriving from the four corners
Ready to bar the door
That keeps insecurity at home

These voices make space
To break free
