Why not cloud
everywhere all at once

pitter patter of
discrete droplets

surfaces inundated
with individual waters

molecules searching
for spaces to gather

river to ocean
interrupted by

car windshields
wiping intermittently

aside potential
minuscule universes

to make way for
forecasted new ones
