Easter Haiku

The sun was so bright 
we had to put on sunscreen 
sitting in the yard 

Cats on the pavement 
rubbing themselves with pollen 
I guess probably 

Almost got too warm 
Cats wanted to stay outside 
So we stayed outside 

Laying in a tomb 
On this the brightest of days 
Seems like such a waste 

Who said I was dead?
